Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 September 2026
This policy explains what Alpha Sentinel collects when you use the service, why, where it is kept, and how you can have it deleted. We don’t sell your data, show ads, or use tracking or analytics cookies.
What we collect
- Account: your name, email address, a securely hashed password (never the password itself), your role/plan and the invitation you signed up with.
- Your settings: alert rules, muted coins, notification preferences.
- Alert history: which alerts were sent to you, when, on which channel, and whether delivery worked.
- Devices: the push-notification token or browser subscription for each device you enable alerts on, its type, the app version and when it was last seen.
- Sign-in sessions: hashed session tokens, so you stay signed in and can be signed out.
- Technical logs: IP addresses and request details, used for security (for example, limiting repeated sign-in attempts) and troubleshooting.
Why
Only to provide the service: sign you in, run your alerts, deliver them to your devices, keep the service secure, and contact you about your account or important changes.
Where it is kept, and who else is involved
- Our server is hosted by DigitalOcean in Singapore.
- Encrypted database backups are stored with a code-hosting provider (GitHub). Only we hold the key.
- Notifications travel through the provider your device uses: Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (Android app), or your browser’s push service (for example Apple, Google or Mozilla). They receive the alert text and a device token, not your account details.
- If you turn on email alerts, the alert is sent to your address through an email provider.
Cookies and local storage
We don’t use cookies for tracking. Your browser or app stores a session token locally so you stay signed in, and a few preferences (such as sort order). Signing out removes the session token.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your data from the live system. Earlier copies remain inside encrypted backups, which are used only to restore the service after a failure.
Your choices
You can change your settings in the app, turn notifications off on any device, and ask us for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account by emailing icoffinxo69@gmail.com.
Children
The service is for adults (18+) and is not directed at children.
Changes
We’ll update the date above when this policy changes, and announce significant changes in the service.
